BioWho am I? Well, that's a good question isn't it? Who I am really depends on where I am at the time. But the bottom line is, I'm a conman. I know it and I'll gladly admit to it. No reason for me not to.
My name though, is Jack Harkness. I'm a conman with the ability to time travel. Cool, huh?

Character Biography:
History: The man who came to be known as Captain Jack Harkness was born on the Boeshane Peninsula in the 51st Century. His entire life changed with the loss of his younger brother. At the age of 18, he left home and joined the Time Agency. He played the role of dutiful officer. Until the day he woke up with two years of his memory missing. Betrayed, he packed up and walked away.
That was how he ended up in London during the Blitz of 1941. And how he met a certain handsome Doctor and his pretty blond Companion. After a con that went bad (involving a Chula medical ship, nano-genes and Empty Children), Jack ended up coming along for the ride. On the Game Station in a distant year, he came face to face with Daleks and gave his life. Thanks to Rose (though she didn't know it), he ended up being resurrected. And left behind by two people he cared about most in the universe.
Using his vortex manipulator, Jack traveled back into Earth's distance past. After it burned out, he was stranded too far. Stuck on the slow path, he was forced to live through history until he could meet the Doctor once again. He discovered he was immortal and was recruited to work for Torchwood as a lifetime employee.
Fast forward to the 21st century. Jack took control of the organization and worked to help the human race prepare for the future, watching over the rift in Cardiff. But the loss of two members of his team hit him even harder than he would have thought.
Personality in seven words or less: Cocky, self assured, flexible, man-whore
How Others Perceive Your Character: At first glance he seems like a man who really doesn't give a damn about much. Self-centered and cocky. But once you get to know him, he's really not all that bad.
